For most TLDs, the transfer process will be handled on the end of the gaining registrar – where the domain is going. Please remember that ICANN regulations do not allow a newly registered name to transfer until it has been registered for at least sixty (60) days.
Before submitting the transfer request at your new registrar, you will need to do several things at orangesiftbd.com. You will need to unlock the domain, retrieve the authorization code, and remove Private Whois, if applicable. Here’s how:
1. Login to your billing account by clicking ‘Account’ at https://billing.orangesoftbd.com/clientarea.php
2. Click on “My Domains” links on Top and click on the right-most icon of the domain name you are transferring away.
3. First, check to see if the domain is unlocked. If the check-box is enabled, that means your domain is locked. Click to disable to unlock the domain.
4. You will also need your authorization code. Scroll down the bottom and find a button called “Get EPP Code” and click on it. Please note, authorization codes are case sensitive. We recommend copying and pasting these codes instead of writing them down. Also, remember that authorization codes are security sensitive. Do not share them with anyone except your new registrar.
That’s it! You can now log out from billing.orangesoftbd.com clients area and initiate the transfer at your new registrar to whom you want to switch to.
