Registering private name servers include the steps as follows.
1)Register name servers at WHM.

WHM –>Basic WebHost ManagerĀ® Setup –>Nameservers
select Explicitly Set the Nameservers and use
ns1.your-domainname
ns2.your-domainname
2) Create A record for ns1 and ns2 at DNS zone

WHM ->Mange DNS zone –>your-domainname
and add A record for ns1 and ns2
ns1.your-domainname –>IP address
ns2.your-domainname –>IP address
The name servers IP address can obtain from welcome email (under NAMESERVER INFORMATION)
3)Change the default name servers at DNS zone
WHM–>Mange DNS zone–>your-domainname(used for name servers)–>manage –>NS –> change server default name servers to custom name server.
4)Register child name servers at domain registry

Login your domain registry and add host record for ns1 and ns2 with the IPs.
The name servers IP address can obtain from welcome email (under NAMESERVER INFORMATION) or it is the same IPs used on step 2
5)Assign Private name servers at domain registry.
Once you register child name server with IPs you can assign private name servers(ns1.domainname,ns2.domainname) at domain registry.
